Personalization and appearance
This engraved wood ornament is a customized name keepsake designed specifically for a baby’s first holiday. The laser engraved wood inscription is applied directly to the wood so the text ages naturally with the grain; each engraved wood ornament will show slight variation that makes it unique. Use exact spelling and capitalization when submitting the name and wording to ensure the finished piece matches your request. The result reads well on the tree as a first christmas tree tag and complements rustic wooden holiday decor.
How to order
Choose your preferred ribbon option from the dropdown menu, then enter the name, wording (for example “First Christmas” or “Christmas”), and year in the personalization box. If you want a proof, include a note requesting one and allow extra production time. Add the ornament to your cart, review personalization details, and complete checkout. For substantial custom requests or alternate layouts, please message before ordering so we can confirm feasibility.
Gift ideas and occasions
This piece makes an excellent baby christmas keepsake or baby shower christmas gift for expectant parents, a thoughtful new parent gift, or a personalized addition to your own ornament collection. It can also be used as custom santa decor when paired with other themed ornaments or given as a customized tree decoration to mark a newborn’s milestone.
Production, proofs, and rush options
Because each keepsake is made to order, production reflects the natural wood selection and engraving process. Proofs are available by request and will pause production until you approve the design. If you need the ornament sooner, express production is available via the linked listing; express production accelerates creation but does not include expedited shipping—select shipping separately at checkout.
Care and storage
To maintain the engraved wood ornament’s appearance, keep it dry and store it in a cool, dry place when not on display. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to reduce color shift across the wood grain. Handle by the ribbon or edges to preserve the laser engraved detail.
FAQ
Q: Can I request a proof before you engrave my ornament?
A: Yes—proofs are available by request. Leave a note with your personalization during checkout to request a proof, and allow extra time for review and any revisions.

A: Simple wording changes (for example “First Christmas” vs. “Christmas”) can be added in the personalization box. For significant layout changes or a custom design, please message before ordering so we can confirm if your request is possible.
Q: Do you accept returns on personalized orders?
A: Personalized orders are final; we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. If there’s an issue with your order, please contact us and we’ll help resolve it.
Q: Is this suitable as a baby shower christmas gift or new parent gift?
A: Yes—the ornament is well suited as a baby shower christmas gift, new parent gift, or an infant holiday ornament that becomes a treasured customized name keepsake for years to come.
