Personalization details
Provide the name exactly as you want it engraved, plus any desired wording and the year in the personalization box. Examples include single-line names, two-line names with “First Christmas,” or name + year formats. We engrave the text directly into the wood so capitalization and spelling appear exactly as submitted—please double-check before completing checkout.
How to order
Select the ornament options and ribbon from the dropdown menus, enter personalization text in the box, and add the ornament to your cart. Review your selections and shipping address before completing payment. If you want a proof, request it in the personalization note; proofs are optional and will add review time to production.
Production, shipping, and timing
We laser-engrave each piece to order, producing natural variations in grain and engraving tone. Express production is available through the separate listing linked in the original listing; express production speeds up creation time but does not include expedited shipping. Choose your shipping service at checkout to control delivery speed.
Custom designs and personalization requests
If you have a design that isn’t shown, message us before ordering so we can confirm feasibility. We happily create custom layouts for gifts, keepsakes, or matching sets. For substantial layout changes or brand-new artwork, we recommend contacting us first to discuss size, text, and any additional options.
Gift ideas and occasions
This engraved baby gift is ideal for parents celebrating an infant’s first holiday, baby shower Christmas gifts, or as a personalized Santa tag to tuck into a stocking. Use it as an heirloom ornament for nursery-to-tree transitions, or pair several baby name ornaments to create a coordinated set for siblings.
Care and storage
Wipe the wooden ornament gently with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust; avoid soaking or submerging in water. Store in a cool, dry place between seasons to preserve wood tone and engraving contrast.
FAQ
Q: Can I see a proof before you engrave my baby name ornament?
A: Proofs are available by request only. Leave a note in the personalization box requesting a proof; we’ll hold the order while you review and approve any revisions.
Q: Will the engraved finish match the photos exactly?
A: Natural wood varies in grain and color, and engraving tone can look lighter or darker depending on grain and lighting. Photos show typical results, but each engraved baby gift is unique.
Q: Can I change the wording to something other than “First Christmas”?
A: Yes. Enter your preferred wording in the personalization box. For major layout changes or an entirely new design, please message us before ordering.
Q: What if I need the ornament sooner?
A: Express production is available via the separate listing linked in the original listing; it accelerates creation time but not shipping. Select your preferred shipping service at checkout for faster delivery.
Q: Do you accept returns or cancellations on personalized Santa tags?
A: Personalized orders are final; we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. If there is a problem with your order, contact us and we’ll work to resolve it.
